All I can tell you for certain is that my entire life has been shaped by an early decision to reject the cult of artistic martyrdom, and instead to place my trust in the crazy notion that my work loves me as much as I love it... and that this source of love and play is boundless.

I have chosen to believe that a desire to be creative was encoded into my DNA for reasons I will never know... I can make my creativity into a killing field, or I can make it into a really interesting cabinet of curiosities. I can even make it into an act of prayer.
— Elizabeth Gilbert, "Big Magic"

“She is a unique artist in that she is so interested in being expressive and never feels the need to upstage others to try and be impressive. I could not recommend Abigail more highly.”

— Santiago Sosa, Apprentice Company Director at Nashville Shakespeare Festival and professor of voice and movement at the University of Kansas

“Abigail is the most sympathetic and believable Julia I’ve ever seen. She plays Julia so honestly, that it really makes for a poignant ending!”

— two gentlemen of verona, denice hicks, artistic director of nashville shakespeare festival

“Abigail’s voice was one of my standout favorites in the musical. She has a true stage voice, clear- pure -rings out like a bell.”

— 7 Ways to Sunday, Bonnie Keen, actor and singer

“Abigail Rhyne’s Flounder is so much more than the sum of her parts (talented young actor meets puppet fish), resulting in a sublime performance that is sweetly believable.”
